Reception to Follow

Elizabeth Weinberg is a queer science communicator and writer based in Portland, Oregon. They are the author of Unsettling: Surviving Extinction Together, a collection of essays examining climate change and wilderness from a queer, anticolonial perspective. Her writing has also appeared in or is forthcoming in High Country News, Identity Theory, Buckman Journal, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. Additionally, they have spent the past decade working as a professional science communicator, helping federal agencies, nonprofits, and other organizations share the importance of science, conservation, and curiosity. Weinberg holds a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from Williams College and a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from the University of Washington.
