Graduation Information - Transcripts and Diplomas

Available through the Registrar’s Office.

TRANSCRIPT INFORMATION

Transcripts

  • Transcripts with degrees posted may be ordered through the Registrar’s Office.
    • Degrees will be awarded within 10 business days after the commencement ceremony.
      • You may order transcripts ahead of time, but if you need it to show your degree, make sure to check the box to hold for degree.
      • Fees apply

DIPLOMA INFORMATION

  • Your full name will be printed on your diploma. You may see how your full name appears in the system by logging onto Trailhead.
  • To change your name, follow the instructions found on the Registrar’s website.
  • Name changes must be made at least 3 days prior to the graduation checkout deadline.
    • If you change your name with the Registrar’s Office, you must notify the Office of Graduate Studies to have your name changed in the Commencement program.

Silver Nickel Plated Diplomas

  • Complimentary
  • Will be shipped by the Registrar’s Office approximately four months following the commencement ceremony.
  • Shipped to the diploma mailing address on file. For directions on how to add your Diploma Mailing Address, click here.PDF versionText only version
  • If no diploma mailing address is entered the metal diploma will be mailed to the permanent address on file.
  • Metal diplomas are insured and must be signed for upon receipt.

Paper Diplomas

  • Additional cost
  • To order a paper diploma, follow the directions on the Registrar’s website.

Sterling Silver Diplomas

  • Additional cost
  • To order a sterling silver diploma, complete the order form through Forum Engraving.
  • You may only place your order after degrees have been awarded (approximately 10 business days after the graduation ceremony.
  • The CSM Office of Graduate Studies must verify:
    • Your name
    • Degree title
    • Graduation date 
  • If you do not hear from Forum Engraving within a week of placing your order, please contact them at 303-761-8084.

CeDiploma

Starting with the 2016-2017 graduates, the Colorado School of Mines is proud to provide graduates a Certified Electronic Diploma (CeDiploma).
